WE LOVE YOU!

It's nice to have a special day of the year to celebrate LOVE! Packages, cards, phone calls(thanks Shauna), gifts, sugar, homemade valentines, friends, family, all the simple things in life put together to make the cherry on top in life.

I still have a CRUSH on this guy :)

eight years later and i'm still in LOVE more & more everyday!

Valentines brings sweet memories of me knowing that this guy was going to be in my future! We had a Valentine's dinner together on FEB 14 2002 just as friends ;) we had a special pasta dinner made by my home teacher and ROLO was there and he had just broken up with a girlfriend and i was thrilled ;) From the moment i first met Roland there was something special that i saw in his smile! His smile has made me the most HAPPY girl on earth :)

Valentine's Day crafts

all of the above ideas from Martha Stewart :) I love holidays and all the crafty things you can do!

My sweet little baby has had a runny nose and cold symptoms the past two weeks and then the last two nights she has had a fever and now this morning she woke up with a barking seal cough. She has croup! O' croup is one of those illnesses i really do not like, so we won't be getting any sleep for the next few nights until this cough gets better. I will just hope and pray that this passes quickly and will be a mild case.

Penny gave her first talk in Primary today.

She was a little shy but her Daddy helped her by asking her questions, in interview style for her talk -

Daddy "This is Penny Rocha and she wants to talk about how she knows Heavenly Father loves her."

Daddy "What did Heavenly Father bless us with this Morning when we woke up?"

Penny "{awkward silence with a look of slight terror}"

Daddy "What was that white stuff all over the ground?"

Penny "Snow!"

Daddy "That's right! And what did we do with the snow?"

Penny "Made a Snowman FAMILY"

Daddy "That's right, Heavenly Father blessed us with families - so we know he loves us"

Penny "{A confident nod and smile}"

Whew! first talk down, and only a lifetime more of talks to go. She did so well she even got a sticker. She had a great day.

and the above craft would also be fun to do for Penny's room. The sun is shining today and it is making me anxious for spring. I want to be hearing a lot more birdie's singing outside. Thinking of Happy spring thoughts :)

how does an 8 month old know how to crawl to the diaper bag, take out a pencil and start drawing on the wall??? Well, i did find it amusing and yes if she flashes that smile it makes everything OK and CUTE :)

My little 4 yr. old is a SUNBEAM now in Primary. She has waited a long time to be in Primary. She was ready last year to move out of Nursery but missed it by thirteen days :) She didn't mind being in Nursery, she was a good helper with all the younger kids and she LOVED the cookie grandma that would visit every Sunday.

i love baby Allison's facail expressions! She has a dinosaur that she loves to chew on and the other day i was in a craft store and the lady's were laughing at the site of this cute little girl, all pretty in pink just chewing on the spiked dino and scowling with serious business.

Princess P.

Princess P. made special scroll invitations to her Royal Ball to celebrate her birthday,
and delivered them to all the
Princesses of the Land!

Penny patiently waiting for her friends to arrive.

As soon as the guests arrived they were escorted to a Royal Princess chair to put on a little sparkle make-up and hold a special Princess mirror. Then they painted each others nails and put on finger nail stickers.

Rolo drew the Princess Aurora picture to play a little game of putting rings on her hands. The girls also went on a Jewelry Hunt.

They all were adorable Princesses!

We also made heart Princess wands out of Rice Crispie treats with pink sprinkles. Penny wanted a pink princess cake and most of the jewelry on our hunt was edible just for Penny because she loves sweet stuff!

Well, our pretty little princess had an enchanting afternoon with her friends and all her hearts desires were granted. We love our sweet girl and love watching her grow up and be quite the royal Princess.

HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY

Penny's Perfect Day!

Perfect was Penny's word of choice when asked about her Princess Birthday Ball today. She loved every minute of it. She has a wonderful group of friends.

I love the true meaning of Christmas! The gift of HOPE, we can always dream of a Christmas coming again once a year, we have hope in Christ who has given us this gift of Christmas. We have many things to look forward to in life and especially the day we HOPE for, the day we get to be with our Father in Heaven again and our Savior and loved ones. May the spirit of Christmas continue to be in your hearts because that is what can last ALL YEAR ROUND!

Piano

We have a Piano in our home!

A Baldwin, console piano. It's just right for a beginner :) ME

i am so excited to start playing again. It has been a long time! The kids love it and we have already had many moments of sitting down together on the bench with Penny singing & Dallin letting me help guide his fingers. Today we were having fun with the simple melody of playing Head, shoulders, knees and toes. I am thrilled to have music in the home. Now it's time for lots of practicing!
